Practical Uses / Panels[]
- Ber-EP4 can be used with other markers to differentiate Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma (Ber-EP4+) from Malignant Mesothelioma (Ber-EP4-).
- Ber-EP4 can be used with other markers such as BCL-2 to differentiate squamoid Basal Cell Carcinoma (Ber-EP4+, BCL-2 +) from basaloid Squamous Cell Carcinoma (Ber-EP4-, BCL-2-).[2] Distinction is crucial in certain anatomic locations such as the perianal skin.
