As a junior member of CAP, you can apply to serve on a CAP committee.  If selected, you will be appointed to a 3 year term. Responsibilities usually include conference calls (4-12 per year) and one face-to-face meeting per year (travel expenses are paid for by CAP). Being a member of a CAP committee is a great way to learn more about our profession. It also provides a fantastic opportunity to network with practicing pathologists.

A list of available committees can be found here. Visit the CAP website for more details. The deadline for 2015 applications is April 1, 2014.
