Each year (usually at the Fall meeting), the CAP Residents Forum (RF) hosts a Town Hall. This is a question/answer session between attendees of the RF and the leaders/representatives of the various pathology organizations, typically including the following:

• American Board of Pathology [ABP]

• Association of Pathology Chairs - Program Directors Section [APC - PRODS]

• Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Residency Review Committee [ACGME RC]

• American Society for Clinical Pathology [ASCP] RISE Committee

• CAP Graduate Medical Education Committee [GMEC]

• Association of Pathology Chairs [APC]

Many questions asked by residents are repeated year after year, due to the large number of first-time attendees at each RF meeting. This page will serve as an FAQ and will document the answers given by the panel to many commonly asked questions.
