Pertinent Negatives[]
This antigen is typically NOT expressed by the following entities:
- Adenocarcinoma
Practical Uses / Panels[]
- p40 has similar sensitivity to p63 for squamous cell carcinoma but has much greater specificity than p63. p40 is more very helpful in differentiating squamous cell carcinoma from adenocarcinoma of the lung than p63.[1]
