Chesapeake Pathology Associates, LLC, based in Easton, MD, is seeking a third pathologist for their group.  This is a partnership-track position.

AP/CP Board Certification will be required within one year of starting.  Chesapeake Pathology acts as an independent consulting group to handle the full range of surgical pathology and cytology specimens from local physicians and the three hospitals in the Shore Regional Health System (SRHS), affiliated with the University of Maryland.  Also the group is employed by SRHS to supervise its three hospital laboratories.

Expertise in GI pathology and breast pathology would be of particular value given the current case mix.  No autopsies are performed; these are sent to the University of Maryland to help train their residents.

Easton has long been considered one of the most livable small towns in the US, and it has easy access to Baltimore, Washington DC, and Philadelphia.  It is a “weekend getaway town” for many people in the region, and so has a much higher density of amenities (such as fine restaurants) than might be expected from the size of its local population.

To apply for this position, a CV should be sent by e-mail to Dr. David B. Danner (ddanner@umm.edu).  Questions about this position are also welcome.
